Interview with Kimberly Elise! — March 23, 2019

Interview with Kimberly Elise!

334FA7E8-850A-4A45-9D8E-ECFB38DABF91

Kimberly Elise is an award winning actress, entrepreneur, and a mother of two. She has portrayed some of the most powerful roles in films like Set it Off, Beloved, Woman Art Thou Loose, Diary of a Mad Black Woman, and more! She is the founder of Kimberly Elise Naturals®, a line of hair products for natural hair, made of natural, and organic ingredients. She inspires me, and countless others! Recently, she took time out to allow me the opportunity to interview her. Check it out!!

 1. Where are you from?

I’m originally from Minnesota.

2. What made you want to become an actress, and Have you always had a passion for acting?

Since I was a girl, I wanted to be an actress, an incredible dream for a simple girl growing up in Minnesota. I slowly nurtured my talent through school plays in high school and later on stage at Illusion Theater. Soon, I found work and could make a modest living in commercials in the Minnesota circuit before moving to Los Angeles with my baby (now my grown daughter and business partner!) and former husband, who sadly has since passed away.

3. How did Kimberly Elise Naturals ® come about, and Can you tell us a little bit about it?

Kimberly Elise Naturals® was drawn from a few sources of inspiration. When I went natural in 2012, I found that most of the products I was trying did not conform to my ethics as a vegan, nor were they very good for my hair. They were filled with Silicones, Mineral Oil, Propylene Glycol, and Phthalates… These are not chemicals I want near my body.

Furthermore, my blog KimberlyElise.combrought in so many questions from women who were very similar to me, in the sense that they were experiencing many of the challenges that I was going through as I became acquainted with my own natural hair texture. I began studying cosmetic chemistry and experimenting with my own DIY recipes for my friends and family. Soon Kimberly Elise Naturals® was born!

Kimberly Elise Naturals® delivers clean beauty exclusively for you. Our formulations are made without Sulfates, Parabens, Silicones, Mineral Oil, Propylene Glycol, Paraffins, Phthalates, Petrolatum, and Drying Alcohols.2224D1AF-6BBC-4EB3-95F1-6C1CBD829BE8

4. What advice would you give to someone who’s thinking about going natural?

I suggest beginning the journey with our Kinky Coily Care Kit, which is a 4-step moisturizing system for women with coarse, kinky, coily hair. Your hair will be extremely hydrated and soft and will be less prone to breakage. You can also check out my eBook “Mane Principles” https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DHWPC44. Next, find your favorite protective styles. Right now, I”m wearing long twists!

5. What’s your hair care regimen?

“I personally choose not to use my own hair for film and television productions. My hair requires weekly cleaning and deep conditioning, so I keep a promise to myself to give my hair the nurturing and attention it needs…When I’m in production on a project, I complete my Sunday hair routine by braiding my hair into a protective style that will fit under any wig or hairpiece I may have to use for work that week. This allows me to keep my hair nurtured and protected. My stylist at work can easily do her job without concern of damaging my hair.” -Excerpt From: Kimberly Elise. “Mane Principles: Your Guide To Kinky Coily Natural Hair Care.”

6. What advice would you give to someone wanting to become an actress/actor, and wanting to start a business or both?

Start by finding your authentic joy and love for the creation. Don’t put too much pressure on your dreams, just find joy in the experience of acting/creating. Start small: 10-minutes to an hour per day is perfect. Write, produce and edit short films to gain experience in front of and behind the camera. Meditate on the vision you wish to create, claim it as yours and deliver it to the universe. Keep your dreams private, don’t let people trample on them.

7. What keeps you so real, humble, grounded, and down to earth?

I’m from Minnesota, and honestly, we’re very humble grounded people because of the cold weather. Also, my family keeps me in check!

8. Any new projects coming up, that you’re working on, and can tell  us about?

The Land — March 21, 2019

The Land

A stunningly beautiful land filled with wonder. A land that sparks curiosity. A hidden gem filled with magical love traps that will hypnotize you into a trance. The land is filled with powerful aromas of sweet smelling strawberries and flowers blooming in the spring. The land is fruitful, fulfilling and exceeds beyond expectations. A land where you’re free to come as you are. You can come as your true authentic raw self, or you can come covered up in a facade of protection. The land is sacred and intriguing. Though it’s a forbidden land and it is only accessible by the chosen one. Those who were not chosen still try to force their way in. Yet it’s discreetly tucked away in a secured place and I fully understand why though. I understand why so many desire entry. The land is a mesmerizing playing field of rainbows and exploding stars. It houses fireworks of rare emotions and storms of satisfaction. A land where the water continuously runs heavy and droughts cease to exist. The land is amazing, YES! But the land is invite only.

Have you received an invitation?

Time to Eat — March 19, 2019

Time to Eat

I’m naked and ready. Ready for you to taste my steady drip of succulent sweet and savory juices. Ready for you to swallow me up whole. I’ve been craving the stroke of your tongue all day long. Have you been craving my taste? I want to feed you. Lay back and open up wide, as I take a seat on your tongue. Allowing it to enter deep into my slippery realm of seduction. Penetrate me with your tongue please. I wanna take my time with it. I’m gliding and riding on it nice and slow. I’m gliding all around it like how a seasoned skater glides around the skating rink. I’m riding it like how a surfer rides a wave. Let go and just let your tongue twirl in exploration inside me like a tourist on new and exciting grounds while I guide you.  Caress my clit to climax. Can I cum in your mouth?

 Are you hungry?

Transparency

Once upon a time…

It’s raining hard, seems like it’s been raining for hours. I can hear the thunder and the lightning is not too far from behind. Torn down beyond rock bottom. I’m underneath a barrel actually. It’s dark and cold. No one knows I’m here because I’ve been pretending well. All alone feeling helpless and weak. Lost the energy to lift my head, had every ounce of confidence sucked right out of me. Self esteem is scarce. There’s nothing left. I really have nothing left. I want to quit, for I have already seen and felt the worst. I’m tired and worn out. I feel bad. What’s the point of all this? Could things really get any worse? Could I feel anymore worse than this? I close my eyes, tears start rolling heavily down my face. The thunder and lightning dies down and now I can hear a calm rain. My inner voice starts speaking to me. But I don’t even recognize it because I haven’t heard it in years. It’s telling me not to quit. It’s telling me to keep going. It’s telling me that I haven’t fulfilled my purpose in this world yet. It’s telling me that I’m needed and that I’m more than enough. It’s telling me to get my ass up. It’s telling me that I’m loved. It’s trying to pull me out of this coma of depression. I opened my eyes and conjured up enough strength to get up. It was still dark and though I couldn’t see all the light just yet. I knew what I had to do. Little by little, I crawled out from that dark place and I saw the light. I learned how to love myself. I learned how to be kind to myself and to have more patience with myself. It was a hard road to travel on. Yet it was the road I needed to travel. I continued listening to my inner voice. Then, I started reading daily affirmations until they were embedded into my soul. I removed anyone and anything that was toxic to my wellbeing. I blocked out any and all negativity. Once I reached a place of self love and inner peace, everything else fell into place. I’m up now and I’m better than ever! I vowed to always empower others. To make others feel great about themselves. To motivate. To encourage others through my actions and by sharing my story because I know what it’s like to be torn all the way down. I never want to feel that again. No where near perfect and always a work in progress. Aren’t we all?

Be Well!:)

Quickie

Now that you’ve conjured up my boisterous uncontrollable flow of waves, I invite you into my overly moist rapture of sensual suction. Slowly but surely closing the walls in on you, making sure that you’re gripped in tight and fully secured. Hold on tight and let me take you on a slippery roller coaster ride of pivotal emotions. Your soul becoming undone with every grind and with every thrust. I can feel every inch of your most sacred part, as I repeatedly grind in circles, on your most sacred part. Performing an exorcism of your soul trying to draw out every drop of your climax.
